About.
Brodie Kane.
But wait there’s more. There’s television presenting (On The Ladder with KiwiBank, the 2022 Women’s Rugby World Cup for ThreeNow), hosting big sporting events (The ISPS HANDA Halberg Awards, The Hot Springs Spas T20 Black Clash) and working around the clock as an everyday athlete ambassador (Sydney Marathon Ambassador, Challenge Wānaka Ambassador). Brodie was runner up on Dancing with the Stars in 2022, and was a “faithful” in the global hit reality tv show, The Traitors in 2023.
She’s a published author, with Brodie Kane: Woman Uninterrupted released in September 2024 and flying off the shelves and hitting the best-selling charts.
There’s also the MC duties and public/keynote speaking which she’s extremely passionate about doing.
Broadcaster/MC/Public Speaker/Storyteller
Brodie has created some really meaningful partnerships with brands and businesses across Aotearoa which she has built over the years within the media industry.
And, she is the co-founder of Solo Girls Run Club – a community run club so women don’t have to run alone.
An extensive background in radio and television, Brodie previously hosted The Hits Breakfast show in Christchurch with Dave Fitzgerald. Prior to that Brodie worked at TVNZ for five years working as a sports presenter on Breakfast, a roving reporter on Seven Sharp, reporter on Fair Go and associate producer on Q+A. Brodie is incredibly fit thanks to her background in Surf Life Saving, but also has a bit of mental toughness thanks to a four-year stint in the Territorials of the NZ Army. She’s completed six marathons and two ultra marathons, with more endurance events in her sights.
Brodie loves talking (it’s sometimes hard to stop her), but loves story-telling more, and is incredibly passionate about engaging with people all around New Zealand.
